Several companies (such as Cofinoga and Mediatis) as well as individuals have been won over by the Vertige process. Two homes are already equipped, at Pyla (Arcahon) and downtown Bordeaux, and two more are in the process, at Bordeaux-Cauderan and in Paris. Vertige technicians have installed these first roofs, with a surface area of around 100 m2, with a view to adding in flower bulbs the following year.
The expectations of these individuals have been quite specific. Their decisions have been, for the most part, motivated by the energy savings provided by this system, but also with a care to the protection of their roofs, and reinforced by the beneficial impact of greenroofs on the environment.
