Aesthetic advantages:
Greenroofing adds to improving the urban landscape and makes the most of surfaces that are often dull and monotonous. The roof can even be transformed into a decorative garden.
Adding flowering bulbs such as iris, crocus, jonquils or narcissus can transform your roof into a hanging garden.

(N.B. it has also been observed that strawberry plants grow very well on our installations.)

Thanks to this system, roof surfaces are no longer unused spaces, especially for flat roofs.

Roof protection and watertightness:
The Vertige process protects the various roof coverings from UV rays, which are the primary cause of premature aging of the tar and other watertightness materials of the roof.

The vegetation also limits the stress on the roof structure and the building framework by lowering considerably thermal shock effects. The lifespan of the roof coverings is doubled, which also reduces water infiltration problems.

Sound insulation
A Vertige greenroof noticeably improves acoustic comfort by diminishing exterior noise (up to 8 decibels of reduction) thereby reducing the problems of resonance seen in large roof surfaces.

Fire protection
The Vertige process limits the progression of fires. The damp layer on the roof will not stop a fire, but can certainly hinder its progress.
