The advantages of Vertige green roofing are numerous and concern above all the financial savings generated by this process:

Thermal Insulation
Greening your roof with Vertige guarantees appreciable thermal insulation.
The principal savings are to be found in the summer, when temperatures close to the roof can see a reduction of 5°C (up to 12°F), due to the natural evaporative cooling (evapotranspiration) process of the plants.
Therefore, due to the cooling of the area under the roof, the Vertige process can reduce air conditioning expenses by 10% to 30% during the hottest 6 months of the year.
In winter, 30% of heat loss is through the roof, so the installation of a green roof can limit this energy loss. For example, savings on heating costs mean that 2 liters per m² per year of fuel can be saved (200 liters per year for a roof of 100 m²).

Maintenance Savings
Green roofs require very little maintenance, as sedum is a very hardy plant that regenerates naturally and does not need mowing.

Rapid Installation
Installation is fast and easy thanks to our "roll-out carpet" mats.

Sloped Roofs
This internally reinforced system can be installed on roofs with a slope of up to 30°.

Lightweight
Ultra-light vegetation means a maximum weight of around 25-35k/m2 (about 55-65lbs/sq.yd) when fully saturated with water.
